About Us

Our Story

Since its inception in the 1970's, the Princeton Community Arts Council (PCAC) has been dedicated to providing cultural experiences and Arts education in our community and surrounding areas. From Art shows, classes, workshops, and contests, to theatrical productions and music concerts, we are thrilled to support and promote multiple opportunities for all ages. We also operate the Sunflower Gallery & Gift Shop located at 105 Vermilion Avenue which allows local artists to showcase and monetize their craft.

We currently average more than 100 members annually. We love the Arts and are committed to creating as many opportunities as possible to establish an artistic hub and support network for our community.

Since time immemorial, Sməlq'míx people have walked gently on the diverse traditional territories. We would like to respectfully acknowledge that we are gathered today on the traditional, ancestral, and unceded territory of the Sməlq'míx People, which is home to the Upper Similkameen Indian Band. We are grateful to express our respect, and raise our hands in gratitude for the honour to live, work, learn and play in their unceded territory, and we thank them for their hospitality.
